Camp Fire Cardboard Challenge

Founders Park at Walsh, Texas, United States Directions
75 Participants

Event Description

Camp Fire First Texas is hosting a **FREE** Day of Play where youth can build games, contraptions, inventions. . . . ANYTHING from cardboard and can showcase it on October 7.

The Cardboard Challenge Day of Play is a movement that stokes the imagination and creativity of children young and old. It is also a time to gather families and communities to marvel at how a box can be transformed through the mind of a child.

Everyone in the community is invited to participate regardless of which school they attend. It is FREE and supplies will be available at the event for those children who don’t have time to build before they arrive.

Build ahead and bring a finalized cardboard creation or come and build on-site.

Judging begins at 10:45 a.m.

To add to the fun, guest judges from East Parker County Chamber of Commerce, Camp Fire, WalshTexas and other government and civic organizations will recognize the handiwork of each child in silly categories:
Most Interactive - Most Tape - Wow! What is That?
Tallest - Craziest Game - Judges' Choice - Kids' Choice
