Horizon Day Camp

Building on games children play in Horizon’s year-round hospital program, Camp Horizon campers are going to build a cardboard arcade and design award prizes. The e-NABLE Alliance is bringing 3D printing and cardboard engineering to Camp Horizon’s STEAM Center and offering its help to create toys and awards and adaptive devices to make the games accessible to all. The e-NABLE Community, galvanized around the website www.enablingthefuture.org, is known for its open source designs for upper limb and lower leg prosthetics, exoskeletons, tools and teaching tools for people with vision impairments, tactile learners, and people using stimming to focus and address stress.
