Event Description
In a project-based learning experience, 8th graders from Carlisle Public Schools chose to be either an event maker, prize maker, or game maker. Their collective task was to design and build a community event that doubled as a fund raiser for their class trip to Washington D.C. Game and prize makers gathered input from interviews of grades PK-8 classrooms to incorporate user feedback into the design of their arcade games and prizes.
We hope you can come celebrate their creativity and play with us at our Global Cardboard Challenge event which features: 15 different arcade games (made largely from recycled materials); prizes to trade winnings for (many made on the 3-D printer, hand-crafted, or recycled gently-used items from donors); pizza and baked good sale. Thank you for your support!
