Event Description
Tinker Education Academy in Nairobi, Kenya hosted the Cardboard Challenge for our August 2017 Camp. The students gathered together in the STEM hands-on Science Lab to explore simple machines, kinetic energy and force. We used our problem solving skills to imagine and create a 'Highway Marble Run' and a 'High-Speed Parking Deck'. For Day of Play, we improved our projects by adding light and sound using littleBits, in addition to making a micro:bit timer to test speed.
