I am a primary school teacher in Grangemouth (which is a small town) in Central Scotland. I am currently working on a Masters Qualification in Education Leadership as part of my course work I was directed to ‘Caine’s Arcade’. I was instantly inspired. Everyday I teach children from a variety of family, home and cultural backgrounds and each day presents itself with new challenges but nothing is more rewarding than a child enjoying their own successes the success they create them selves. So I would like to set my class the cardboard challenge!

Inspired by the short film, ‘Caine’s Arcade,’ the Global Cardboard Challenge is an annual event presented by the Imagination Foundation that celebrates child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. This September, kids of all ages are invited to build anything they can dream up using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination. Then on Saturday, October 1st, 2016, a day that commemorates the flash mob that made Caine's day in the short film, communities come together and play!
